The management is quite friendly.
We were pleasantly surprised to find the array of goodies available for all guests to borrow: beach toys, movies, books, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas.
Additionally, there is a small playground which is suitable for young children.
There is a fence running around the perimeter of the property which allowed me to feel comfortable as my son ran around the lawn.

Island Manor Resort is a short 5-minutes walk from the Point Judith Ferry landing, and only about 20 minutes by foot from the local airport.
Area Attractions Tip: "What you want is a bike, and don't make the mistake of asking for a motor.
The island's dirt roads are off-limits to mopeds.
Do, however, get a bike with a basket.
If your hotel doesn't have a supply, the Old Harbor area is bike rental central.
