JOB DESCRIPTION
SEASONAL POSITION
Position Summary:
Reviews, prioritizes and completes all Maintenance Request Forms.
Actively involved in preparation of purchase requisitions including “price shopping” to acquire vendors; develops vendor clientele
Assists in the company wide recycling program to include investigating new recycling avenues in addition to implementing current procedures
Responsible for the implementation of maintenance schedule for equipment, and repairs to equipment.
Installs all new equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines
Performs some carpentry, repairs, assembling of equipment, fixtures, partitions and furniture, shelving installation, etc… for plant and offices
Performs all ground keeping functions.
Shares 24 hour on call response for the facilities security and emergencies such as fire and burglary.
Makes daily or nightly rounds of premises to check for problems or abnormalities.
Performs any other Maintenance related duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications
High School and/or Trade School diploma.
Minimum five years experience in carpentry, electrical/plumbing, and building management.
Must be self motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to interpret specifications, convert tables and make calculations.
Must be familiar with local and state building, electrical and plumbing codes.
Analytical skills to act as a troubleshooter and problem solver.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity.
Attention to detail and high personal quality standards.
Able to successfully handle multiple projects and prioritize.
Must have a good safety record and continuously exercise good safety habits
