Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic Responsible for operations concerned with installation, maintenance, repair and alteration of machines, equipment and systems throughout the company.
A Maintenance Technician ensures that a facility remains in operating form.
Daily tasks will vary day-to-day based on what is in need of attention at the time, but can frequently include repairs, aesthetic work or tending to the facility’s machinery.
The type of work a Maintenance Technician will encounter on an average day is also determined by the company the technician works for as well as the company’s grounds and facility.
Maintenance Technician skills and qualifications A Maintenance Technician requires a diverse mix of both hard and soft skills, particularly manual labor skills, including: * Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems * Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricity * Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building * Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner * Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked * Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.
