Jane Ryan Insurance Group is an independent insurance brokerage providing clients with insurance options for home, auto, business, life, health, Medicare and more.
We are growing quickly and looking to add a sales agent for our health, Medicare, employee benefits, and life team.
An insurance license is required for this position but don’t let that scare you from applying.
We will work with someone who is the right fit to obtain their license and train them.
Prior insurance knowledge is helpful but not a requirement.
Cold calling is not required as leads come into the office through established referral networks.
The employee will also learn to build their own referral partners over time.
Build up your book of business earning a base salary to start plus commissions.
Commissions are paid over the lifetime of the policy.
The position is expected to earn between $60,000 - $70,000 within the first year between base and commissions.
Our company offers a hybrid work option available once a person is fully trained.
We also understand and appreciate that people have a life outside of the office.
This means that you might need to schedule your day outside of traditional business hours sometimes or step away during the day for doctor appointments, child or pet needs, and prioritizing your health.
The dress code is very relaxed so long as a person looks presentable when in front of clients or company representatives.
We do have two dogs in the office nearly daily, if this is a concern for allergies or fear of dogs.
*Responsibilities* * Create and maintain client or prospect lists using CRM * Create insurance proposals; makes sales presentations to prospective and existing clients on new and renewal business * Excellent pipeline management and prospect follow up are a must * Engage and educate prospective clients and help assess their needs in a timely manner * Develop a rapport based upon trust and integrity while achieving sales goals * Make customized product recommendations based upon your assessment * Act as a broker for top insurance companies Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.
