Superior is currently hiring for a full-time Inside Sales Associate for our Norwich location (251 West Thames Street).
The successful candidate will have retail sales experience in power equipment and supplies, enjoy customer service, have strong communication skills, possess basic computer knowledge and be able to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
Knowledge of small engine equipment, power tools and/or construction field would be a plus! Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities:
Greet walk-in customers in an efficient, timely, professional, and respectful manner.
Act as the direct contact for all equipment sales, assessing customer needs while providing a high level of service.
Support equipment purchasing for the division.
Ensure that the showroom and display areas are organized and clean and that the proper signage is in place.
Handle customer inquiries from the website, email, and phone calls.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Basic knowledge of power equipment and hand tools
Able to lift up to 50lbs with full motion and dexterity
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience preferred
Customer service skills a must
