*Position Overview: * Historically, Waypoint Branding has focused on providing marketing services to companies within the marine & superyacht industries.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team to continue growth within the marine & superyacht industries while expanding into broader verticals.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing new client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the agency.
This role is a contract position with compensation on a commission basis.
*Responsibilities: * 1.
New Business Development: - Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and acquire new clients.

Developing New Client Relationships: - Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with new clients.
3.
Sales and Pitching: - Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the creative and strategy teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions.
4.
Market Analysis: - Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Analyze data and market insights to identify areas for growth and improvement.
5.
Achieving Sales Targets: - Work with company management to set ambitious sales targets and revenue goals.
- Monitor and report on sales performance regularly.
*Qualifications: * - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in business development within a marketing or advertising agency.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
