*Gallery Sales Associate-Part Time* Barker Animation Art Galleries & Collectibles in Foxwoods Tanger Outlets is seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Gallery Sales Associate to join our Foxwoods team.
As a Gallery Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting visitors, and contributing to the sales and success of our gallery & collectibles store.
* · *Customer Engagement:* Greet and engage with gallery visitors, providing information about the artwork and artists, and offering an exceptional customer experience.
A positive and customer-focused attitude is a MUST.
* · *Selling:* Assist customers in selecting and purchasing artwork and collectibles, including processing transactions and maintaining accurate records.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A passion for art and a desire to learn about our gallery's collection and collectibles.
Previous experience in sales, preferably in an art-related, collectible, or retail setting preferred but not required.
(We will train) * · *Gallery Appearance:* Help maintain the gallery's appearance, including arranging artwork, ensuring cleanliness, and organizing exhibitions.
* · *Product Knowledge:* Develop an understanding of the gallery's collection, collectibles, artists, and art-related topics to effectively communicate with visitors and answer their questions.
* · *Inventory Management:* Assist in inventory tracking, including restocking, pricing, and labeling artworks.
* · *Promotion:* Collaborate with the marketing team to promote gallery events, exhibitions, and sales through various channels.
* · *Administrative Tasks:* Perform various administrative tasks such as maintaining customer records, managing inquiries, and providing support for gallery events.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask, be able to operate opening and closing procedures.
Basic computer skills for transaction processing using a POS (point of sale) system, and record-keeping.
