Position Summary:
This position is responsible for designing and developing web and e-mail graphics and web pages.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
Responsible for designing and developing web and e-mail graphics and web pages
Converts graphics for the web, e-mail and other internet marketing initiatives using the agencies provided
Schedules updated website content
Adapts print design for use on the web and in e-mail campaigns
Supports company-wide internet marketing initiatives through graphic design
Maintains website content in response to client requests
Assists with the e-mail production when required
Takes creative direction from outside agencies and the Internet Marketing Manager
Designs within the Mohegan brand guidelines
Optimizes graphics for efficient Web delivery
Converts design mockups to HTML code that matches a determined design layout
Produces web site design prototypes with an understanding of Content Management System (CMS) parameters
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops textual and graphical web content and schedules web updates
Utilizes new web technologies to improve the interactive experience
Creates Flash animations
Identity Design
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
Bachelors’ Degree in Web or Graphic Design or a related field or three years of Web Design experience working on a large scale website
Expertise in current Internet standards, including web browser and cross-browser compliance testing
In-depth knowledge of one or more current web markup or scripting languages: HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript
Well-versed in web design/development software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
Familiar with user-interface and information architecture principles and how to design web sites with complex information and functionality
Knowledge of visual design, information design and interaction design
Must be flexible and resilient with the ability to give and take direction from multiple teams within the organization
Ability to learn new Internet and authoring technologies relevant for web site design and development
Ability to work within a Web Content Management System
Familiarity with both PC and Mac platforms

Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills and the ability to delegate tasks
Knowledge of e-mail marketing strategies
Ability to work independently, managing several projects simultaneously and setting priorities with minimal supervision
Training Requirements:
Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash programs
Knowledge of brand marketing
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Office work environment
Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
