Division Corporate Office Type of Position Full Time Pay Rate City Uncasville State CT Job Level Experienced Education Bachelors Department Internet Marketing Category Marketing Senior Digital Brand Specialist SPE Position Summary: This position is responsible for executing and focusing on interface design of the websites to increase the visibility of the Mohegan brand.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to: Creates marketing campaigns and online promotions that help build relationships with current and potential customers Works with Manager in the project management of monthly web, digital, e-mail campaigns and online promotions Produces web site design prototypes with an understanding of Content Management System (CMS) and develops new micro-sites for Mohegan with a focus on interface design Works with Manager to ensure all creative content meets brand standards Provides expertise in Content Management System data structure Coordinates and provides training to department team members Supports content contributors and editors with production-related issues Assists in the rebranding of internet marketing initiatives like property mobile-apps and e-mail templates Assists in web project management and testing of new integrations or projects as it relates to internet marketing Analyzes promotion performance and makes data driven decisions to determine placement and the most effective way of merchandising products Assists Web Designers with ‘leading edge’ marketing concepts Maintains the content and executes marketing strategy for Mohegan Sun Meetings website Creates digital display banners as necessary Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: Analyzes and reports e-commerce activities from competitors to discover growth opportunities for future web marketing campaigns Updates website editorial content including gathering and researching technologies that enhance the value of the site Develops textual and graphical web content and schedules web updates Creates benchmarks web and campaign marketing statistics Administers Public Relations Newsrooms and other Word Press instances Utilizes new web technologies to improve the interactive experience Analyzes and reports e-commerce web metrics using Google Analytics and other systems Works with various internal clients to build, test and execute online data collection forms such as contests Minimum Education and Qualifications: Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Web Design or a related field Three years of Internet technology experience Expert level knowledge of HTML, CSS and web design best practices, browser compatibly testing and delivering content to multiple platforms, including mobile web technologies Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, XML and Analytics Must have knowledge of productions management and Multimedia web technologies Previous copywriting experience Knowledge of database and e-mail marketing and able to work with data using Excel Familiarity with both PC and Mac platforms Extensive experience in web content and/or intranet publishing and publishing tools Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization techniques Project management experience in large scale web projects Knowledge of e-mail marketing, and experience in online marketing In lieu of a Degree and previously mentioned experience, six years of experience in Internet technology may be considered Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to support a dynamic web environment Training Requirements: Understanding of PHP, JavaScript, XML and Analytics Ability to design within an established brand Understanding of WCAG 2.
