Spanning 35 acres on Montauk’s Star Island, Montauk Yacht Club offers waterfront views, a private beach, three pools, multiple dining options and over 200 wet slips that can accommodate boats from small day cruisers to 300-foot superyachts.

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the F&B department.
This position requires a dynamic and experienced professional who can lead a team of talented individuals to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
You will oversee all aspects of our hotel’s restaurants, bars, room service, and catering services to maintain the highest standards of quality and service.
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily pre-shifts to communicate specials and offerings
Actively manage the F&B operations, quality of service and interact with guests and staff during operations
Follow-up with unsatisfied guests and maintain service recovery
Coordinate daily pre-shift meetings with the F&B teams
Assist with creating and maintaining procedural protocol for F&B operations
Maintain daily setup and breakdown in line with Montauk Yacht Club’s defined aesthetic
Assist with special events coordination, setup and management
Maintain compliance with departmental policies, procedures and standards
Assist with completing daily, weekly, and monthly management administrative duties including operations reports, financial documentation, guest correspondence, human resources / staff management paperwork, operations evaluations, standard operating procedures, safety and sanitations checklists, ordering and inventory documentation, and PR/marketing tasks
Skills/Knowledge Required
Strong liquor, wine & beer knowledge required
Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
Proactive attitude with strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to motivate and inspire others to work cooperatively to achieve a designated goal
Flexible schedule; willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
Strong problem-solving skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience: Over 3 years of hospitality experience, and 2 years of previous experience in a similar position preferred
Licenses/Certificates: ServSafe, RBS, & TIPS certified required
