Seeking professional(s) to provide educational and therapeutic enrichment activities to woman with significant disabilities 2-3 days a week, four to five hours a day.
Shifts similar to 10 am to 2 pm or 2 pm to 6 pm are available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
While the focus of the positions are on enrichment activities, positions also include direct hands-on personal care (toileting, feeding, etc.
), assistance with ambulation, and other hands-on support - such as physical redirection and hand-over-hand support.
Best suited for a calm, confident, introverted person with an interest in healthy living, gardening, nature, art, reading, animals, movies, and a love of learning.
Positions are part of 24/7 support system for woman who has been hiring her own supports and living in her own home for over 20 years.
Must be a team player.
Must love cats and dogs.
Training provided.
Schedule must be consistent but we can work with you to find hours and days that work for you.
Must work at least two shifts per
week.
Positions work well for those with an interest in special education or occupational therapy, students, and those seeking mom's hours.
Please note this position can be physically demanding and requires you to be able to work independently.
