David Burke Prime is the classic New York steakhouse set amid the excitement of one of the world's largest resort and casinos, Foxwoods.
Vibrant and vast, Prime features classic and creative preparations of the world's finest steaks, aged in an on-premises patented salt-brick aging room, as well as seafood, chops and more.
Must be comfortable in a fast paced environment and have 1 year of restaurant experience
Job Overview: Adhering to sanitation and safety policies | Stocking and replenishing items as needed | Knowledge of menu items, table and seat position numbers (all taught once hired) | Assists dining room service teams as needed with setting tables, placing and replacing silverware, clearing and cleaning tables, chairs, and dining room
General Responsibilities: Protects the restaurant and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies | Supports dining room staff by clearing tables | Closes kitchen facility by cleaning, organizing and storing for next day / Polishing silverware and glassware for front of the house / Prepare bread/Popovers and bring them to the table.
Prepares dining room for patrons by cleaning and re-setting tables | Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed | Being alert to patron spills or other special needs
Skills: Must be comfortable in a fast paced environment | Strong verbal communication and customer service skills | General understanding of food preparations, cuts of meat, and food allergens
Work experience and education requirements: Minimum 1-2 years restaurant experience preferred
Must be available to work weekends and holidays
